This letter is in response to a letter dated April 9, 2008, as supplemented July 2, 2008, June 5, 2009. July 8, 2009 and July 27, 2009, that requests a license from the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control ("OFAC") for Mr. Nilo Jerez to "execute [a] judgment" against the Republic of Cuba, Fidel Castro Ruz, Raul Castro Ruz, the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces, and the Ministerio Del Interior, the defendants in Jerez v. Republic of Cuba, Case no. 05-18719 CA 9 (Fla. Cir. Ct.).

1) OFAC Confirms that, notwithstanding the text of 515.203(e) of the CACR, no license is required to "execute on a judgment against blocked property in accordance with the requirements of section 201 (a) of the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act of 2002."
