Dear Ms. Diaz:
This is in response to your October 26, 2015 application on behalf of the La Bolita Productions, LLC (“La Bolita”), requesting a specific license to film and produce a film, Magic City, in Cuba, including authorization for all United States technicians, talent, and personnel involved in the Magic City film to travel to Cuba. You also request authorization to make all financial expenditures and to carry equipment, supplies, and items required to create the film. Finally you indicate that La Bolita will borrow funds from a U.S. bank to cover the film budget and require that a U.S. financial institution issue a completion guaranty with respect to the film.
