1) On January 3, 2026, the U.S. military launched a military strike in Venezuela that resulted in SDNs Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, being brought back to the U.S. to be tried on drug trafficking and other criminal charges. Marudo is blocked pursuant to EO 13692 (incorporated into the VSR) and EO 13949 (not incorporate into regulations), while Flores is blocked pursuant to EO 13692 only. As described in United States v.
