Notes:

1) A version of this provision is common throughout sanctions programs. Note that provision deals with delegation within the Treasury; not the apportionment of responsibility between the departments of Treasury and State. Where sanctions authorities are implemented by both agencies. It is generally an executive order that explicitly apportions duties between the two.

2) 544.802 is cited as part of the authority for the implementation of the Russia-related Directive (CBW Act Directive) of 2019.
