2) This guidance clarifies that the transfer of funds to Iran arising out of a sale of U.S. property by a U.S. person is permitted under the personal remittance general license (560.550). 560.543 ("Sale of certain real property in Iran and transfer of related funds to the United States") permits sort of activity the subject of the correspondence, but with respect to property in Iran.
