Here, Thomas Cook, a non-U.S. person apparently not subject to the CACR as a result of 515.329, disclosed having sent a number of U.S. origin (i.e. Dell and HP) laptops and associated equipment to Cuba. OFAC’s cautionary letter refers to the “exportation of laptops, an Ethernet cable, and a switch, which are property or interests in property subject to the jurisdiction of the United States”.
