Unlike other specific licenses authorizing transactions involving blocked real property located in the U.S. (Use this search query to find all such licenses), this license is issued to a local/municipal government. The blocked and abandoned property was, essentially and per the license request, an eyesore/nuisance. In that regard, the SL is notable for its licensing policy of accommodating compliance with municipal regulations.
