LIMMT Economic and Trade Company, Ltd. ("LIMMT") "a Chinese firm, was designated by Treasury on June 13, 2006, for providing material support to Iran's missile program." Li Fangwei, the "the commercial manager of LIMMT," was designated in 2009, along with a number of other Chinese entities that were front companies for LIMMT. On December 15, 2009, the government-funded NGO called the "Wisconsin Project" issued a report claiming to have discovered that "Dalian Orient Pipe Components Co., Ltd" was an alias of LIMMT.[1] "[I]nformation contained in [the] report was presented to the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) in mid-December 2009," and resulted in the designation of one Chinese entity, but not Dalian Orient Pipe Components Co., Ltd.
